The Muslim World League has condemned the Israeli government's decision to close six schools operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the League issued a statement on Thursday, stating that this decision is part of a series of systematic violations targeting the political and military structures of the United Nations and its relief organizations, as well as its decisions related to the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, reiterated his support and solidarity with UNRWA in its humanitarian mission to assist the people of Palestine. He called for the concerted efforts of all countries, organizations, and peoples to stand against this ongoing Israeli barbarity, which continues to violate all international and humanitarian laws and norms.
