Addressing Zamir, Netanyahu said, "A very great responsibility rests on your shoulders," adding, "The results of this war will have an impact for generations, and we are determined to achieve... victory."
Meanwhile, the new Israeli Defense Minister threatened to return to war "with violence" if Hamas does not release the prisoners held in Gaza.
