Netanyahu Plans to Send Negotiators to Doha for Gaza Ceasefire Talks

Netanyahu held a meeting on Saturday night to assess the situation concerning the prisoner swap negotiations with Hamas. He is also scheduled to convene a meeting of the Security Cabinet (the "kitchen cabinet") today, Sunday.

Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that, in light of the stagnation in the negotiations, the Israeli political leadership has instructed the military to prepare for a possible return to combat. However, an Israeli security source warned that resuming fighting would put the lives of the prisoners at risk.
