Netanyahu opposes probe into Oct. 7 events

TEL AVIV— Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his opposition to forming a committee to investigate the events of October 7, 2023, Khaberni reported.اضافة اعلان

During a press conference on Saturday, Netanyahu stated, "The Israeli government will decide on the matter when the time comes.”

However, the Director of the Israeli Security Agency, Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, demanded the formation of an official investigation committee into the events of October 7.

During a Mini-Security Cabinet session, Bar said, "I ask you to announce a government investigation committee today; the public is waiting for it, and the Shin Bet is waiting for it.”
