New Statement from Hamas Regarding Latest Israeli Proposal

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced early Thursday that it is currently working on drafting its response to the latest Israeli proposal regarding a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.اضافة اعلان

The movement had received an updated Israeli proposal through Egypt and requested time to review the terms of the agreement.

Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi stated:

“Hamas’s response is still being prepared in coordination with other factions. We affirm that there is no room for any partial deal.”

He added:

“The resistance’s weapons are not subject to any negotiations, and they are central to the Palestinian factions’ consensus.”

Mardawi continued:

“We will not negotiate over arms or over those who carry them at any stage. Disarming the resistance is solely an Israeli proposal, not an Egyptian one.”
