No peacekeeping force in Gaza— UN spokesperson

NEW YORK — UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated that UN Secretary-General, António Guterres has not proposed to the Security Council the establishment of a peacekeeping force in the Gaza Strip, Al-Ghad reported.اضافة اعلان

In a statement to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Dujarric further explained that the UN's current objective is to secure a ceasefire in the strip for humanitarian reasons, enhance the quantity and quality of the humanitarian aid, and pursue a political resolution that aligns with the two-state solution.
