Omani Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, arrived in Ramallah in the city of the West Bank in Palestine on Friday aboard a Jordanian helicopter, a local media outlet reported.

Albusaidi was received at the Palestinian presidency by Foreign Minister, Riyad Al-Maliki, and Diplomatic Advisor to the President, Majdi Khaldi, as reported by the official Palestinian news agency, Wafa.
During his visit, the Omani Minister is expected to hold a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The purpose of the meeting is to convey a message from Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq, and to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, reaffirming the Sultanate's unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
Prior to his departure from Ramallah, a joint press conference will be held by the Palestinian and Omani foreign ministers, providing an opportunity to address the media and summarize the outcomes of their discussions.
