GAZA –
According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, more than 800,000
residents currently reside in
Northern Gaza, representing approximately 152,000 families. This constitutes one-third
of the provinces' population of 1.2 million, with around 400,000 individuals,
seeking refuge in central and southern areas, Ammon News reported.

This
development coincides with renewed I
sraeli calls for residents in Gaza City and
the northern region to evacuate to the perceived safety of southern Gaza
Valley, with a specified timeframe for evacuation via the
Salah al-Din road
which has been deemed as a “death trap” by Gazans, despite
Israeli Occupation Forces calling it a “safe rout.”
The bureau's
estimates are based on real-time data collected before and after October 7,
leveraging information from Palestinian communication companies and the
Ministry of Communication.
