The official spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, warned against the continued comprehensive war by the Israeli occupation authorities on the Palestinian people and land in the West Bank, especially in the Jenin Governorate and its refugee camp, as well as in the Tulkarem Governorate and its refugee camps, where further crimes of killing, displacement, and destruction of property are being committed.

Abu Rudeineh stated that the occupation forces are conducting a systematic campaign of house demolitions and displacement of citizens, leading to the martyrdom of dozens of citizens and the injury of hundreds, amid international silence regarding the occupation’s plans to implement its annexation and racial expansion agenda, continuing the crimes of genocide committed in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom, injury, and displacement of more than 200,000 citizens.
Abu Rudeineh called for U.S. intervention to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and land, urging that the U.S. not encourage further escalation, which could lead to uncontrollable developments and consequences for all involved.
The official spokesperson for the presidency emphasized that the Palestinian people will not accept any plans, whether through displacement or alternative homeland schemes. He added that threatening the Palestinian people would not benefit anyone, but instead lead to widespread destruction, both locally and in the region.
The spokesperson also condemned the Israeli authorities' decision to tender contracts for the construction of 974 new colonial settlement units in the "Efrat" settlement, considering it an extension of the occupation’s plans to impose facts on the ground. He reaffirmed that all forms of colonization are illegal and violate international legitimacy, which calls for their removal.
He stressed that expanding colonial settlements directly contributes to entrenching Israel’s apartheid system and is part of efforts to impose unilateral and illegal measures to undermine any potential for peace based on international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. (WAFA)
