AMMAN — A parliamentary committee led by
the head of the Parliamentary Media and Culture Steering Committee, MP Omar
Al-Zyoud, will arrive in Cairo Sunday to discuss joint relations and exchange
of experiences in the fields of media and
tourism among other matters.

The six-day visit will be interspersed with
meetings with various media and tourism experts, as well as with a number of
Egyptian deputies, Zyoud told
Jordan News.
“Egypt is known for its expertise in the
field of media, and this visit aims to open the way for exchanging experiences
and benefiting from Egyptian media experts, especially in the private sector,” the
lawmaker said.
Zyoud stressed that this visit aims to
establish promising workshops and investments in order to improve the local media
sector. As for the tourism sector, he said that Egypt is one of the best
pioneers in the tourism field.
“This visit includes deputies related to
the tourism field, who will discuss ways of joint cooperation to benefit from
the Egyptian experience in this field,” he said.
Zyoud clarified that this visit came as a
result of joint coordination and an invitation from the Egyptian side and the
Arab League, adding that this meeting will be followed by many upcoming
meetings in the fields of media and tourism.
