AMMAN — Electricity has been cut off in large areas of the Gaza Strip, when the sector is being bombardment by the Israeli occupation military, which comes as part of an operation against the Islamic Jihad movement, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

Al-Mamlaka TV correspondent mentioned that the power plant would stop working on Saturday due to a “significant shortage” of fuel used to generate electricity.
On Friday, the Israeli occupation authorities retracted the entry of trucks loaded with fuel after the announcement by the director of the Karam Abu Salem crossing, Bassam Ghabin, that the crossing has been opened at 04:00 pm exceptionally to enter it, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.
Al-Mamlaka TV correspondent said that the Israeli occupation informed the Palestinian authorities of reversing the entry of trucks, which were announced to be allowed to enter the Gaza Strip on Friday morning after Israel agreed to allow six fuel trucks to fuel the power plant.
Muhammad Thabet, the media director of the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company, told Al-Mamlaka about the loss of part of the electrical networks, due to the Israeli raids.
