In a statement to Al-Mamlaka TV on Sunday,
Nems noted that occupation forces had besieged the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital
where 14 paramedics belonging to the Red Crescent are located. He called for
"serious intervention" to stop the Israeli aggression as services go
offline in the hospital due to a lack of supplies.
Nems mentioned that
Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis has received more than 12,000 displaced people, houses a large number of
patients, and the power generator has stopped working for three days due to
fuel shortages.
Nems also highlighted that the Nasser Medical
Complex is suffering from the imminent depletion of fuel.
Nems said the European and El-Najjar hospitals
in the southern part of the strip "are suffering from patient
overcrowding” since a huge number of displaced and injured people arrived. He
said
medical teams could not absorb more evacuees to the hospitals.
