AMMAN — On Friday,
Saudi Arabia managed to foil an attempt
to smuggle 143,000 Captagon pills. These pills were found concealed within a
truck that was entering the country through the modern border crossing
connecting it with Jordan.

The Saudi Authority of Zakat,
Tax, and Customs stated in a
press release that during the inspection of one of the trucks arriving through
the
modern border crossing, they discovered the mentioned quantity of
Captagon pills hidden beneath the truck's floor, Saraya News reported.
The authority affirmed its commitment to enhancing customs
control over the country's
imports and exports, actively preventing
smuggling attempts. This is carried out in close coordination and continuous cooperation
with its partners in the
General Directorate for Narcotics Control in Saudi Arabia.
