AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia has
announced the launch of its “e-visa” service in seven countries.

The new initiative will allow the cancellation of visa
stickers on the beneficiary’s passport, switching to a new electronic visa and
reading its data through a QR code.
The first of a new initiativeIn an official statement by the official Saudi Arabia Press
Agency, explained that this is the first step in a number of the countries
mission with the inclusion of seven countries, including United Arab Emirates,
Jordan, Egypt, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Philippines.
This new procedure is part of Saudi Arabia’s new automation
procedures in raising the quality of consular services provided by the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs.
Designed to improve the mechanism for granting visas,
including work, residence, and visiting visas, the process is aimed at making
the process more efficient and streamlined.

make it easier for travelers to enter the country.
