This follows the entry of the initial batch of aid into the
Gaza Strip on the Saturday, October 21, facilitated through the
Egyptian Rafah border crossing, Amad reported.
Approximately 20 trucks have crossed the border, loaded with
essential food supplies, medical equipment, medications, and relief assistance.
There is ongoing coordination with the Red Crescent to ensure the smooth
distribution of aid within the Gaza Strip.
All of this is taking place amidst the continuous Israeli
bombardment of the Gaza Strip, with a focus on targeting civilian shelters,
including hospitals and schools run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA).
