The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem reported in a statement that dozens of settlers entered the mosque through the Moroccan Gate, toured its courtyards, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the blessed mosque.
The Waqf added that the occupation forces imposed strict measures on the entry of worshipers to the mosque, intensifying their military presence around Al-Aqsa and the Old City of Jerusalem in an attempt to restrict the movement of worshipers coming to the mosque during Ramadan.
Calls continue to intensify visits and maintain a presence at Al-Aqsa throughout Ramadan to counter the Israeli occupation's violations and settlers' incursions. The Waqf stressed the importance of increasing the gathering and guarding at Al-Aqsa throughout the holy month and beyond to thwart any Judaization schemes.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily incursions and violations, except on Fridays and Saturdays, by settlers and Israeli occupation forces in an attempt to impose new Judaization realities.
