Soldiers’ deaths a painful blow - Israeli defense minister

TEL AVIV — Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, characterized the killing of Israeli soldiers in the battles against Hamas in Gaza as a severe and painful blow. Galant noted that the significant achievements from the intense fighting in Gaza unfortunately come at a high cost.اضافة اعلان

These statements came after Israel's forces acknowledged the death of 11 soldiers thus far in battles with Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, Al Ghad reported. 

The correspondent reported fierce clashes between the resistance and Israeli occupation forces advancing in the southern neighborhood of Zaytoun, southeast of Gaza City.

The correspondent also mentioned ongoing Israeli artillery shelling in the northern Gaza Strip.
