Spain considers independent recognition of Palestine

MADRID — On Friday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that Spain may independently recognize Palestine if the European Union does not do so, as reported by Khaberni. "I think that the moment has come for the international community, especially for the European Union and its member states, to recognize the state of Palestine," Sanchez told media during a news conference on the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing on Friday.
