This Wednesday morning marked the commencement of the 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum, organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau under the theme "Resilient Governments... Innovative Communication," at the Expo Centre Sharjah. The forum gathers a distinguished group of leaders, decision-makers, and experts in government communication from around the world to discuss the latest trends and challenges in this vital field. This year's forum aims to explore how to build resilient governments capable of adapting to rapid changes by adopting innovative and effective communication strategies.

The forum’s agenda includes numerous panel discussions and workshops focusing on various topics, including the role of government communication in enhancing transparency and trust between governments and communities, as well as innovation in communication tools as a means to ensure effective crisis communication.

In his opening remarks, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, emphasized the importance of government communication in building bridges of trust between the government and the community.
