GAZA - On Monday, the spokesperson for the
Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qidra, reported that the
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed 364 health workers and arrested 269 others, including
hospital directors in Khan Yunis and northern Gaza.

In a press statement coinciding with the 150th day of the ongoing
Israeli war on the besieged Gaza Strip, Qidra revealed that the IOF has
destroyed 155 health facilities, closed 32 hospitals, and shut down 53 health
centers. Additionally, they targeted 126 ambulances, rendering them out of
service, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
Qidra emphasized that the health situation is catastrophic,
defying description, and continues to deteriorate due to the lack of essential
medical supplies. The deliberate humanitarian and
health catastrophe created by
the IOF has contributed to the spread of infectious diseases and epidemics. The
MoH has documented nearly one million cases of infectious diseases, yet the
necessary medical resources are insufficient.
Residents of northern Gaza are struggling for survival,
facing famine that surpasses global levels due to water scarcity, food
shortages, and inadequate access to medical aid. The crisis has already claimed
the lives of dozens of children, women, and elderly individuals.
Qidra urgently called upon the UN to implement international
humanitarian law to protect civilians, institutions, and health personnel.
