Amad Media reported.

“Next Monday, the
Labor Party will submit a proposal to withdraw confidence to overthrow the
government,” the HaAvoda posted on X.
“103 days have passed
since [Israeli civilians] were detained… and the government does not care at
all,” the party added. “[The captives] do not have time... and there is no
confidence in a government that does not do everything to bring them back…
there is no confidence in a government that does not prioritize the return of
detainees, a government that cares about its corrupt interests.”
The party concluded
its statement by saying, “This is a government that cannot be trusted, and it
must be overthrown.”
Merav Michaeli, the
former Israeli Minister of Transportation, heads HaAvoda, which has four seats
in the Knesset out of 120.
Earlier on Wednesday,
the Yesh Atid party, which has 24 seats in the Knesset, announced that it had
also submitted a proposal to withdraw confidence from the government in
objection to the budget approved by Netanyahu’s government.
“This government
cannot continue to exist. It is a failure that costs people’s lives and the
future of the country,” the party stated.
Withdrawing confidence
requires a vote of at least 61 Knesset members. The idea is difficult to pass
because the Netanyahu-led government has a 64-seat majority in the Knesset.
