AMMAN — A source in Iraq with the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) stated on Sunday evening that three American soldiers were killed by a drone that attacked an American base in Syria.اضافة اعلان

On his part, a U.S. official confirmed to Al Jazeera that the drone attack on American forces near the Jordanian border was carried out by an armed group supported by Iran.

Three US soldiers were killed and at least 24 others were injured in a drone attack on a small American site near the Jordanian border, U.S. officials informed CNN. This represents the first time American soldiers have been killed by "enemy" fire directly in the Middle East since the beginning of the Gaza war.
