Truce to begin at 7am on Friday, hostage release to follow at 4pm

DOHA – The Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Thursday that the humanitarian truce in Gaza will begin at 7am Friday local time.اضافة اعلان

Civilian hostage release will start from 4pm Friday local time
“We hope that this humanitarian truce will lead to achieving a permanent truce and lasting peace,” the Qatari Foreign Ministry said.

They added that contacts with all parties and mediators had ended and lists of the names of those who will be released had been handed over.

The Spokesperson for the Qassam Brigades said 50 detainees would be released over four days. 

An Israeli Cabinet Member said earlier on Thursday that the truce could be extended to ten days if they Hamas released 100 detainees.
