Turkish police injured in Ankara terrorist attack

ANKARA — Two Turkish police officers were injured on Sunday in what the Turkish Interior Minister, Süleyman Soylu, described as a "terrorist attack" in the capital city, Ankara. Soylu stated that the terrorists targeted a building belonging to the Ministry of Interior in Ankara, clearly labeling it as a "terrorist attack."اضافة اعلان

An explosion rocked the Turkish capital, Ankara, near the Ministry of Interior. In response, a significant number of police and ambulance teams quickly rushed to the scene, as reported by Turkish media, Al Mamlaka reported. 

Soylu further added that one of the attackers involved in the Ankara attack detonated himself, while the other was neutralized.

According to Turkish media, security forces had to close Atatürk Street to traffic due to the explosion's sound, which was also heard near the gate of the Turkish Parliament's Gençay Gate.
