GAZA — An agreement has been reached for the sustainable
entry of
humanitarian aid into Gaza through the Rafah crossing. The Egyptian Presidency
officially announced this accord on Thursday, stemming from a phone call
between Egyptian President
Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and U.S. President
Joe Biden.

The entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza will be closely
supervised by the United Nations, responsible for ensuring secure and efficient
aid delivery. President Biden, on his return flight to the United States after
visiting Israel, expressed anticipation that humanitarian aid would commence
its journey to Gaza on Friday, once the essential repairs at the Rafah crossing
are completed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
