GAZA — The
United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) documented in its report the fatalities
of 273 Palestinians inside its shelters in various areas of the
Gaza Strip,
directly targeted by Israeli aircraft. Additionally, 966 others were injured
since October 7.

In a report quoted by news agencies on Friday,
UNRWA affirmed that 33 of its affiliated institutions were directly hit by the
bombing, and 57 institutions were damaged due to the continuous shelling for
the 63rd consecutive day. The report highlighted that 1.2 million displaced
individuals, who lost their homes or had their areas targeted, sought refuge in

UNRWA shelters, Hala reported.
UNRWA pointed out that 132 of its employees
were martyred in the ongoing shelling operations in the sector. It confirmed
the presence of 11,388 patients inside the shelters in need of medical care.
Additionally, there are 50,000 pregnant women in urgent need of
treatment and healthcare.
