GAZA – Adnan Abu Hasna, the media advisor for
the
United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in
Gaza, stated that the agency only has enough food supplies to last half a day,
according to Khabreni.

He noted that the
current situation in Gaza is
unlike anything it has faced in previous wars with Israeli forces. In previous
conflicts, Israel would coordinate with UNRWA to reopen crossings for
humanitarian aid and establish humanitarian corridors. However, complete
closure as seen now has not occurred since 1967.
