WASHINGTON — The US news website Axios reported that four US officials stated that the Joe Biden administration is considering airdropping aid to the Gaza Strip due to increasing difficulties in delivering aid by land, attributed to Israel’s restrictions and targeting of relief workers and police accompanying aid convoys.اضافة اعلان

According to the website, US officials welcomed the White House's idea of airdropping aid to Gaza following Jordan's execution of several rounds of airdrops, Al-Ghad reported.

On Tuesday, His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), participated in airlift operations to deliver relief and food assistance to the people in Gaza.

A statement issued by the JAF affirmed that His Majesty’s participation confirms Jordan's continued support for the Palestinians, aiming to deliver aid through all available means to Gaza.

Notably, six C130 aircraft, including three from the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) and three others from the UAE, Egypt, and France, took off from Amman as part of an international effort to deliver humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the people in the strip.
