AMMAN – The
US special envoy, DavidSatterfield, said on Saturday that when fuel runs out, there will be an
agreed-upon mechanism to deliver fuel to the Gaza Strip.

Speaking to journalists in the capital, Amman,
he stated that between 800,000 to 1 million people have moved to the southern
part of the
Gaza Strip, while between 350,000 and 400,000 people remain in the
northern part.
He added that there are no recorded instances
of Hamas blocking aid or seizing it.
He pointed out that "
UNRWA has been able
to access the fuel stored in Gaza for aid trucks, water desalination, and
hospitals in southern Gaza."
