US supplies Israel with 100 bunker-busting bombs

WASHINGTON – The Wall Street Journal, citing US officials on Friday, said that the United States has supplied the Israeli military with 100 bunker-busting bombs, including tens of thousands of other weapons, for use in the war in Gaza. اضافة اعلان

As reported by Khaberni, bunker-busting bombs with a warhead known as "BLU-109," are designed to penetrate concrete before exploding. The process of supplying additional weapons and ammunition, including 15,000 bombs and 57,000 artillery shells, began shortly after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and is still ongoing.

The Wall Street Journal noted that the United States, which has been providing weapons to its key allies in the region even before the Gaza war, had not previously disclosed the quantity of weapons provided to Israel.
