Biden discussed ongoing efforts to negotiate an immediate ceasefire, aiming to facilitate the entry of more aid, and promised that the US would exert all efforts to deliver additional aid to the strip, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
Additionally, White House National Security Spokesperson John Kirby stated that the US would double its efforts to open a humanitarian maritime passage for large quantities of aid to Gaza, noting that the US would continue urging Israel to facilitate more
aid trucks entering Gaza and open more roads.
Kirby emphasized that there would be more than one US airdrop operation for aid to Gaza, adding that these operations would be conducted in coordination with partners, especially Jordan, within days.
Since February 26, Jordan has continued airdrops of aid to the people of the Gaza Strip from north to south, with a focus on northern areas.
