US vetoes ceasefire draft, UK abstains

The US has vetoed an Algerian draft resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday at the UN Security Council. 13 members voted for the resolution while the UK abstained. This was the fourth time the US has voted against a draft resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
