TEL AVIV — According to a recent report and videos
circulating on social media, it allegedly shows that there are fighters from
Ukraine in the ranks of the
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF). An informed source
reports that seven of them have been killed in ground battles in the
Shuja'iya neighborhood. However, Kiev claims not to have deployed soldiers beyond its
borders.

A circulated video on social media depicts armed
soldiers hiding behind a wall, conversing in Ukrainian. One soldier in the
video claims they came to fight to prevent a new "Holocaust,"
attempting to justify their involvement in the attacks on the Palestinian
people, as reported by Jo24.
According to Al-Jazeera’s monitoring and verification
unit, it reported that the location where the soldiers appeared is in Gaza, and
they were indeed speaking Ukrainian. The Jerusalem News Agency quoted informed
sources, mentioning that seven Ukrainian mercenaries were recently killed in
the Shuja'iya neighborhood. This area sees significant daily losses in lives
and equipment for the occupation forces.
Kyiv denies
A spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry
stated, "We have not sent any soldiers to the Gaza Strip or any other
region of the world." They added that individuals speaking Ukrainian in
Gaza might be Israelis of Ukrainian or Slavic origin with no connection to the
occupation.
While the IOF announced the death of several soldiers,
it notably refrained from disclosing losses among the mercenaries fighting
alongside them.
According to estimates and leaks, thousands of French
citizens are fighting in the ranks of the occupation forces in Gaza, alongside
mercenaries and volunteers from Britain, Germany, and some African countries.
However, South Africa issued a warning last week to its
citizens that they could face legal consequences if found to be fighting in
Israel’s war on Gaza.
