GAZA – A spokesperson for the
World Health Organization (WHO) stated on Tuesday that a larger number of Gaza's population is at
risk of death from diseases compared to bombings if the health system in the
region is not quickly supported to return to normal.

According to Al-Mamlaka Tv, WHO spokesperson,
Dr. Margaret Harris said, "ultimately, we will see a larger number of
people dying from diseases compared to bombings if we cannot rebuild this
health system."
She described the collapse witnessed in
Al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza as a "tragedy" and expressed
concern about the Israeli forces detaining some of its medical staff.
