Global - World Health Organization (WHO) spokesperson Christian Landmaier confirmed the identification of 25,000 bodies of martyrs as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, noting that the health authorities in Gaza have identified each of the victims individually and reported their names.

"The fact that we now have 25,000 people whose identities have been confirmed is a step forward," Landmaier said during a press conference in Geneva on Tuesday.
"There is no error" in the Health Ministry's data, he said.
Of the remaining 10,000 martyrs, some of whom cannot be reached, including those in mass graves, they must be sent to the morgue for identification, he said, as each one has a name, a history, and a family and must be identified.
Landmeier noted that the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has scrutinized the changes in the death rates of women and children who were killed, which amounted to 60 percent of the total victims, indicating that this percentage could increase significantly because many women and children were in the houses that collapsed and are still under the rubble.
He called for a ceasefire to prevent further casualties and to start extracting bodies from under the rubble.
These statements come in response to the occupation state questioning the numbers of victims of the Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7.
