GAZA — The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced
on Friday that one million people in the Gaza Strip have no safe place to seek
refuge due to the intense Israeli bombardment.
This was mentioned in a tweet on the "UNICEF Middle
East and North Africa" account on “X,” formerly known as Twitter,
commenting on the ongoing Israeli bombardment of residential areas in the strip
for several days, Al Ghad reported.
The organization added: "We are horrified by the scenes
coming from Gaza. A significant number of children are among the victims. One
million people have no safe place to go. This is unacceptable, and the violence
must stop immediately."
