Women, children & babies killed “execution-style” in Gaza School

GAZA – According to witnesses, several people including women, children and babies were killed execution-style by Israeli forces while sheltering inside the Shadia Abu Ghazala School, in the al-Falujjah area, west of Jabalia refugee camp on Wednesday.  اضافة اعلان

Bodies were reportedly piled up inside the school including those of newborn children in footage obtained by Al Jazeera on Wednesday.



Reporting from Rafah, southern Gaza, journalist Hani Mahmoud said the area where Shadia Abu Ghazala school is located was under heavy air strikes and artillery shelling, with a heavy presence of Israeli tanks on the ground for several days.

“A source that we spoke to in the school said that when the fighting was getting heavy and the bombardment was getting more aggressive, a lot of people from that area left their homes … and started rushing to the school, viewing it as a refuge,” he said. 

The surrounding areas of the school were under heavy bombardment, according to witnesses in the area, but the school itself did not come under heavy [air] bombardment, which seems to be consistent with what people found in the classrooms.
