Global - World Central Kitchen (WCK) said Tuesday it was resuming operations in the Gaza Strip, which were suspended over a deadly Israeli air strike on its staff.
WCK, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that provides food relief, said it handed out more than 50 million meals in Gaza after suspending its operations in April, when an Israeli air strike killed 7 of its workers.
The organization said it now has two main kitchens and 65 community kitchens spread throughout the war-ravaged enclave.
