The World Food Program stated that it has been unable to deliver any food supplies to the Gaza Strip since March 2 due to Israel's closure of all border crossings to humanitarian and commercial supplies.

The Group of Seven (G7) countries also reiterated their support for the resumption of aid entry to Gaza "without obstruction," calling for a permanent ceasefire in the region.
This statement came on Friday evening after a meeting of the foreign ministers of the group, which includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the High Representative of the European Union. The statement was published on the U.S. Department of State's website.
Despite the ceasefire agreement entering into effect on January 19, Israel continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, prevents the entry of aid, and cuts off electricity to Gaza, which constitutes a violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.
Thus, Israel continues its policy of systematic starvation, closing border crossings, blocking humanitarian and relief aid from entering Gaza, while threatening to resume fighting against the region.
