NEW YORK — A former official from the Obama National Security Council was arrested in New York on Wednesday following the circulation of widely shared videos on social media depicting him using hate speech and Islamophobic language toward a worker at a New York City food cart.

In the video, he can be seen verbally abusing a Muslim street vendor, labeling him a "terrorist" and threatening that his family would face torture from security services "when they deport you back to Egypt." He concluded the tirade by stating, "If we killed 4,000 Palestinian kids? It wasn't enough,” Khaberni, CNN reported.
As the footage gained traction on social media, users on X (formerly known as Twitter) identified the individual as Stuart Seldowitz. The collective effort to gather information led to his arrest, with the New York Police Department reportedly "monitoring the situation."
