Former US congressman loses multiple family member in church bombing

WASHINGTON – Former Michigan Congressman, Justin Amash, revealed that a number of were killed earlier this week due to an Israeli airstrike on Saint Porphyrius Church Gaza. اضافة اعلان

"I have now confirmed that many of my relatives were killed in the Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza, where they were seeking shelter when part of the complex was destroyed by an Israeli airstrike,” Amash said on twitter.

Amash was the first member of congress of Palestinian descent.

"The Palestinian Christian community has suffered greatly, and our family is in deep pain. May God protect all Israelis and Palestinians who are suffering, regardless of their religion or creed."
