AMMAN — The White House appears to have deleted a picture that showed the U.S. President, Joe Biden, alongside a special American force during his recent visit to Israel. Earlier, unconfirmed American reports had discussed the deployment of American special forces to 'Israel' for the purpose of participating in the operation to free American hostages held by Palestinian resistance in Gazaاضافة اعلان

Meanwhile,  on October 19, the Biden administration published a list containing the names of American soldiers serving in Israel, along with their military ranks and units. The list was swiftly disseminated on social media, causing concerns about the safety of these soldiers. According to Israeli media, the list also disclosed the names of soldiers working in secretive units, such as Unit 8200, responsible for electronic intelligence, Khaberni reported.

The U.S. administration promptly issued an apology for the oversight and pledged to remove the list from the internet. John Kirby, the spokesperson for the U.S. National Security Council, expressed their deep regret, stating,  “The U.S. government is committed to safeguarding the identities of American soldiers.”

These revelations could place the American soldiers in Israel at risk, making them susceptible to harassment, extortion, or even hostile attacks. Furthermore, such incidents have the potential to erode trust between the United States and Israel.

As a result, Israeli media has called upon the Biden administration to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident, with the aim of identifying its cause and taking necessary measures to prevent its recurrence.
