AMMAN — On Thursday evening, a 5.9-magnitude earthquake hit Tokyo, Capital of Japan, leaving 52 injuries, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The Fire and Disaster Management Agency of Japan's Ministry of Administrative Affairs and Communications indicated that most of the injuries occurred in the neighboring regions of Saitama and Chiba.
As a result, subway and traffic were temporarily halted, causing some fires and cutting water pipes.
