According to the announcement, the shares of these companies will remain suspended until they provide the stock exchange with the required financial data.

In a related context, the stock exchange also announced the continued suspension of trading in the shares of three companies, stating that they will continue to be traded through the unlisted securities market. This is due to their failure to provide the stock exchange with the required financial statements within the specified timeframe, failure to settle financial dues to the stock exchange, or failure to submit a bankruptcy declaration, in addition to not providing the stock exchange with audited annual financial data for the period ending on December 31, 2024.

The stock exchange had previously called on listed companies to submit their audited annual financial statements from their auditors for the fiscal period ending on December 31, 2024, through the electronic disclosure system (XBRL) before the end of Sunday, April 6.

It is worth noting that based on the provisions of Article (15/B/6) of the Securities Listing Instructions for the year 2018, the Amman Stock Exchange suspends trading in the shares of non-compliant companies that have not submitted their audited annual financial statements from their auditors. This suspension starts on the first business day following April 6, until these companies provide the required financial data. This is aimed at enhancing the protection of traders and investors in the stock market and providing them with the necessary information in a timely manner to help them make informed investment decisions.

The requirement for companies to submit their audited annual financial data to the stock exchange is in accordance with the Securities Listing Instructions of the Amman Stock Exchange, which mandates all listed companies to prepare annual audited statements from their auditors. This is to reinforce the principles of disclosure and transparency, enabling investors and shareholders to access essential information and the companies' financial results on a continuous and timely basis.
