AMMAN — The volume of trade balance
between Jordan and Qatar increased by 17.5 percent in the first quarter of
2021, compared to the same period last year, according to Jordan News Agency,
Petra.

During the first quarter of 2021, the Jordan-Qatar
trade balance totaled 200 million Qatari riyals (some $55 million), compared to
165 million Qatari riyals (some $45.3 million) a year earlier, according to the
quarterly trade data issued Saturday by the Qatar Planning and Statistics
Authority (PSA).
Jordan's top imports from Qatar include
lubricants, kerosene, liquefied gas, and fertilizers, while Qatar mainly
imports fruits and
vegetables, livestock, chemicals, medicines, phosphate, and
potash, per government data.
