AMMAN —
Jordan imported the full quantity of Iraqi oil last month, buying all the
300,000 barrels agreed upon with its western neighbor, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

According to data by the Iraqi Oil Marketing
Company, the amount of oil exported to Jordan in June was 299.8 barrels, or
about 10,000 barrels a day.
The two countries agreed in June to continue to work
on the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides. The agreement
envisages Jordanian daily import of 10,000 barrels of Iraqi crude oil from the
northern Kurdish oil wells of Kirkuk. The oil is sent to the Jordanian
petroleum refinery.
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource’s data
revealed that the total quantities of Iraqi crude oil supplied to Jordan from
the start of supply at the beginning of September 2021 until the end of last
year reached about 1.19 million barrels.
