The elections were made during the first meeting of the new
board, which was held virtually on March 30, an ABJ statement said.
Al-Salem expressed appreciation for former chairman Hani
Al-Qadi and all members of the 2018-2021 term for their great efforts exerted
in serving the banking sector and the national economy, especially during the
difficult circumstances imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The chairman added that the new board will continue building
on the “achievements realized by the outgoing board,” stressing that the new
board will spare no efforts in realizing the goals of the association.
