AMMAN — The head of
Zarqa’s Chamber of
Commerce, Hussein Shreim, said Monday that the value of commercial exports from
Zarqa amounted to JD15.7 during July, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

Shreim said the exported material, included some
goods with a non-Jordanian certificate of origin which transit through the
Kingdom to another destination.
He said that cars and auto parts accounted for most
of Zarqa’s commercial exports in July, along with building materials, sanitary
ware, pharmaceutical drugs, foodstuffs, clothing, jewelry, electronics,
furniture, and general stationery.
Shraim announced that
444 certificates of origin, documents confirming the good’s origin, were issued
during the month of July, according to statistics by the Chamber of Commerce
and its office in the
Zarqa Free Zone.
