It feels like everyone’s been keeping their eyes peeled for the next big PlayStation development, or what Microsoft’s Game Pass is going to offer us now. Not many people are aware, however, of Nintendo’s impressive additions to the gaming industry.اضافة اعلان

We have previously discussed the Nintendo Indie Showcase, and how the Nintendo Switch is still proving to be an absolute powerhouse in the indie gaming scene. The Switch’s selling point has always been its portability and gaming-on-the-go mantra. But with the latest showing of “Direct Mini”, there are plenty more reasons to pick up a Switch if you have not already.

Let us highlight some of the newly announced releases, which ones you should pick up, and why.

Dragon Quest Treasures
Dragon Quest Treasures (DQT) deviates from the classic RPG formula that other Dragon Quest games have been known to have. It seems to be a mishmash of all sorts of gaming formulas. In this game, you will explore the open world accompanied by your party of monsters, scouring your surroundings for treasure. Right from the beginning there are similarities between this title and Nintendo’s recent hit, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, in both its visual style as well as the look and feel of traversal. The monsters in your party are not just for show either; they fend off foes that try to take you down on your adventure. But make sure to lend a helping hand during battle to ensure your monster buddies don’t end up biting the dust.

The treasures are not collected to simply meet an objective. Rather, they are necessary to expand your base and upgrade its facilities. Doing so uncomplicates your life as you continuously explore more tedious and deadly terrains. While the end goal of DQT is unclear, the adventure it promises appears to be one that will have you glued to your screen.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection
Speaking of Nintendo’s pattern of creating nostalgic content, the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection was probably one of the most exciting recent announcements. Previous Gameboy owners have likely come across one of the 10 games this collection will include.

If you are a fan of Pokémon, RPGs, or the Mega Man franchise, then this announcement probably caught your eye — and for good reason. With the increased resolution option offered, you can battle a plethora of enemies through all 10 titles in beautiful and nostalgically designed settings. If getting upgrades that alter your character’s moves, the battle ground you fight on, or the amount of damage you can dish out while you move around the map sounds exciting, then be sure to give this collection a try upon its release.

Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable

Many fans of the Persona series were left unfulfilled when an anticipated announcement turned out to be a spinoff title for Persona 5 Strikers. But after a long wait, this announcement has blown Nintendo users away. A game once exclusively accessed on the PlayStation is finally making its way to the Switch this October. Accompanying this exciting release, developers at Atlus have gone all out with releasing both Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable as well.

Switch users can finally experience possibly one of the best JRPG franchises. If you have both the time and the motivation, we highly suggest you check out the other two titles along with Persona 5 Royal, as they offer the same combat feel while being vastly different in tonality, story, and progression.

There are so many great releases to try out. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Capcom’s DLC; the popular NieR: Automata – The End of YoRHa Edition; and the new Mario + Rabbids title are a few honorable mentions. This is a call to action for all gamers absorbed in the everlasting console battle between Sony and Microsoft or are too focused on their PCs to even glance Nintendo’s way. Try out Nintendo’s new content; it is releasing one hit game after the other, reigniting both indie and nostalgic passions alike.
