It has been a confusing and overwhelming time for gamers everywhere. Many great games have already been released this year, but others were pushed till next year. اضافة اعلان

Amidst this confusion, October offers some comfort: quite a collection of new releases.

Here is what we recommend you keep an eye out for.

Overwatch 2

To all Overwatch lovers, the wait is finally over.

Yes, Overwatch 2 has finally been released, and unlike its predecessor, it is free to play for everyone worldwide. Although Blizzard has chosen not to make all the content available to players who did not own Overwatch 1, that should not deter anyone from giving it a go. All the content is free to unlock by purely playing the game, and although some characters will be locked behind a paywall initially, that does not mean you will not get to enjoy them eventually.

So, get to shooting with your buddies and enjoy a more polished version of your favorite shooter.

No More Heroes III

This is surely one of the more bizarre games being released this month, but No More Heroes III is a must-try for all hack-and-slash lovers.

With a truly eccentric and over-the-top storyline, satisfying combat mechanics, and some witty banter thrown in the mix, this game will have you confused, delighted, and excited, probably all at the same time.

Initially released on the Nintendo Switch in August, the game will finally be released to both PC and consoles later this month. So, get your battery-charged lightsaber doohickey ready for some good ol’ slashing fun.

Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival

If you are into rhythm games, Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival (TNTRF) is a title you should be excited about. A game commonly seen in arcades around the world, TNTRF is coming to the Nintendo Switch this month.

Instead of the conventional drumsticks you have grown accustomed to seeing in arcades, you will use your console JoyCons to drum away to the beat!

With over 20 songs to play on multiple difficulties, some Nintendo-exclusive playable characters, and even a party mode to play with up to three other people, TNTRF is sure to have you drumming your way to a rhythm-filled fun-fest.

Bayonetta 3

Also coming to the switch this month, and after an eight-year wait, is Bayonetta 3, an action-adventure game featuring fan favorite raunchy gunslinging witch Bayonetta. If you are a fan of the first two titles of this series, then we are sure you cannot wait to get your hands on the third.

Offering an eclectic mish-mash of your favorite hack-and-slash mechanics, including a soundtrack that will have you at the edge of your seat and a bunch of eye candy to go along with it, Bayonetta 3 should be on every Nintendo Switch owner shopping list this October.

Gotham Knights

An open-world, action RPG set in your favorite crime-filled city, Gotham, Gotham Knights will have you playing any of its four playable characters (Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood) as you scour through the city fighting crime in style. Each character has their own skillset and combat mechanics, so having the gameplay getting stale should be the least of your concerns.

Gotham Knights is a title you should pick up upon its release, with beautiful graphics, an interesting storyline, and some high-octane battles to be had.

Marvel Snap

The latest addition to the growing and ever-so-popular strategic card battle genre, Marvel snap will have all of you card fanatics and Marvel maniacs wracking your brains to build the perfect deck and put it to the test. With a massive collection of your favorite Marvel characters, the combinations you can put together are endless.

So, if you are a fan of strategy, card battlers, or even just Marvel, Marvel Snap might be right for you.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

The sequel to “A Plague Tale: Innocence”, released in 2019, A Plague Tale: Requiem is back with its action-adventure stealth gameplay.

Filled with tense moments, puzzles, and a storyline that sucks you in, this game should be checked out if you are a fan of stealthy survival titles.

Sneak your way past the French Inquisition soldiers while also evading the deadly plague-ridden hordes of rats that persist in blocking your path in this dark and gritty world. So, put on a pair of your quietest shoes and sneak your way to a — hopefully — happy ending.

And there you have it! These are just a few of the October releases people are expecting. And sure, there are bigger titles than the ones listed, but we do not think games like Call of Duty: MWII need an introduction at this point.
